Mexico City’s indie rock sensation Hello Seahorse! has released their new album ‘Lejos. No Tan Lejos’ early at iTunes just as the group launches a mini-tour across California. A physical album release is set for March 29th.
‘Lejos, No Tan Lejos’ explores beyond the melancholy sounds of ‘Bestia’ with tracks like the loungy “Casa Vacia,” the haunting “Un Año Quebrado” and the prickly “Me Has Olvidado.” The classically-trained operatic voice of lead singer Lo Blondo is stronger than ever and plays a compelling contrast to the group’s experimental sound.
